I work for a foreign company more than ten years, I have to speak a little bit English, because our boss is not from China, he do not speak Chinese, my English is so poor, that's why we have a English teacher. Our English teacher is from USA, he studied in china and returned to USA some years ago, we have one hour class every week, you can have two if you prefer.

I had English class today, from 3 pm ~ 4 pm, I and my co-worker joined the class, first, teacher asked us, what did you do last weekend, ask my co-worker first, my co-worked went out and visit a museum on last Sunday, actually it's very hot last Sunday, but my co-work said it's ok for him, that means he is not fear heat. After 20 minutes, it's my turn, teacher ask me why do I work from home today, I told my teacher, I am not only work from home today, but also yesterday and tomorrow, the reason is company lunch is too salty for me, I can not eat any meat, I am losing weight recently, I will work from home 3 days one week.

After 20 minutes, there is no much time left, today is review day, we review some words since we learned some weeks ago, teacher ask me first, what's mean for "street smart", I forgot it, just guessed it, Unfortunately, I did not answer correctly, so teacher explained again, "street smart" means a people he do not get good educated, but he have lots of living experience, he can easily take care of many staffs, it really embarrassed me, then teacher asked my co-worker, what's tailgate mean, I also do not know what's mean, even you can look for dictionary, but you still do now know the mean, my co-worker did not give a right answer, so teacher explained, you are driving a car, there is a car behind you and close to you, you can said the car tailgate you, it's mean it's too close to your car. teacher asked me another word sketchy, I did not give the right answer, even teacher said if I say the house is sketchy, what's mean, finally teacher explain, it means not safe. I list all the words we reviewed today.
